YACHTVENTURE 2018

Please join us Saturday, November 10th, for our 8th Annual YachtVenture, from 5-9 pm.

YachtVenture is The Children's Museum of Wilmington's largest and most exciting fundraiser of the year. We are very grateful to Bradley Creek Marina for allowing us to host the event at their facility. Guests are invited to tour and lounge on area yachts, imagine themselves exploring the coast, and enjoy local fare provided by Sawmill Catering, all while sipping on their favorite adult beverage.

YachtVenture is an upscale, casual event and there truly is nothing like it in our area. Edward Teach Brewing will be making a limited edition craft beer (Shipwrecked) especially for the event, Heaven Hill Distillery will provide a whiskey tasting, and Hops Supply Co. is our official after-party spot. Guests can bid on specialty items in our silent auction, and one lucky raffle winner will have a choice between three luxury vacation packages! YachtVenture is the perfect coastal showcase of everything that makes our corner of the world so special.

Our Mission Statement: The Children's Museum of Wilmington strives to educate and inspire imaginative, independent thinking through hands-on science, math, and art experiences.

Our Goal: For all visitors to learn amazing things about themselves and the world in which we live through informal, playful, hands-on and child-directed experiences. In our warm and inviting environment, children find ample opportunity to explore and better understand art, science, culture, and more through engaging exhibits and weekly programs.
